Editorial Policy

Last reviewed: 19 August 2026. RealEchoes publishes practical tools and guides focused on money, work, housing and living in Ireland. Our goal is to help readers understand a decision before they act—not to manufacture pages simply to attract search traffic.

What we publish

We prioritise topics that directly support the site's tools and audience: Irish salary and tax, housing costs, savings, job applications, employment permits and realistic relocation planning.

Sources

Where a claim depends on a rule, rate or official process, we prefer primary sources such as Revenue, gov.ie and the responsible public body. Statistics should be traceable to the organisation that produced them. General advice should be clearly distinguished from factual requirements.

Accuracy and dates

Year-sensitive guides should state the relevant year. We avoid presenting estimates as guarantees. When a rule changes, affected tools or articles should be reviewed. Publication dates are not a substitute for checking a current source.

Original value

Articles should answer a practical question in a useful way and add context, examples, calculations or decision guidance. We do not intentionally copy or lightly rewrite third-party articles. Automated tools may assist editing, but the published page remains our responsibility and must be reviewed for usefulness and factual accuracy.

Corrections

Readers can report errors through our contact page. Material factual errors should be corrected as soon as reasonably possible.

Independence

Advertising, if enabled, does not determine our editorial conclusions. RealEchoes does not claim endorsement by Google, Revenue, the Irish Government or any other organisation unless an explicit relationship is documented.
